My Life In Instagram

Headed to the Washington National Cathedral today with Symphony for a photo shoot at the Bishop Gardens. So great still having friends around DC, especially during the summer. Being back home in New Jersey is kind of pointless at the moment since I feel like everyone is now all around the states or around the world. It's crazy how everything changes so much.

I'm currently working as a waitress and making as much money for my big trip in the fall. Let's just say that being a waitress has it's pros and cons. Pro: free lunch and dinner, Con: tired feet and blisters.
Just doing my best to make as much money to do some soul searching in the fall. Traveling is the best way to find yourself.

Ending my night with some Thai tea made by my roommate while we blast Hilary Duff songs. It's a little funny how we ended up just kicking it back tonight and reminiscing about childhood memories. I mean, who didn't like Hilary Duff...

Wish List

Everybody has little wish lists for their birthdays or holidays. I just happen to have them for every single day. A girl can't help gathering some of her favorite things. Here is my wish list at the current moment. Sadly, not a lot of these items are as affordable as I want them to be. Maybe the macaroons and the iPhone case, but a girl can dream. Tell me some of your favorite wish list items!

one // This LEATHER MAC BOOK CASE is sleak and stylish for work or personal use. It's hand cut and hand sewn using a traditional saddle stitch method. I just love a good mac book case that protects the computer and looks great on the go!

two // I discovered the SHELTER bags yesterday when I was on Pinterest. The one that caught my eye is called the Rolston Bag in Cove Green Brushed Denim with Grey Ikat Contrast. It's the perfect backpack and/or carry on that is great for school, the beach, hiking, or anywhere you find adventure.

three // MACAROONS. Is a description really necessary? My first macaroon was at Paul's Bakery in DC. The family bakery and and pastry shop is a European franchise, but my friend who studied abroad in London spotted the bakery when we were walking around Georgetown in DC. Such a cute place, and everybody speaks French there!

four // I have been a fan of Rifle Paper Co. since I have discovered their products at Paper Source. I'm a sucker for stationery and graphic design work! I even got to see their booth at the Stationery Convention in New York City (yeah, I'm a nerd). Love their new IPHONE CASE COLLECTION and just want to buy every single one!

Project Unbreakable

Project Unbreakable is a a project started by twenty year old photographer Grace Brown. She created this project by aiming to give a voice to sexual assault survivors. While photographing them, they hold a poster with a quote from their attacker. Grace works with these survivors by listening to their story and allowing them to show that they are not silent.

The project has received over a thousand submissions, while Grace has photographed about three hundred. TIME magazine has also named it one of the top 30 Tumblr blogs to follow.

If you or someone you know are a victim of sexual assault, RAINN has a free, confidential, 24/7 sexual assault hotline: 1.800.656.HOPE(4673). RAINN also has an online hotline: https://ohl.rainn.org/online/

Never be silent. You have a voice.

Josh Pyke

I always love discovering new music, so I stumbled upon this great YouTube channel called Ivy League Records. One of their newest and highlighted videos is focused on Josh Pyke, an Australian singer-songwriter who is about to release his newest album on July 5th.

Check out the creative teaser for his upcoming album (and pre-order), and subscribe to the YouTube channel for more talented Australian artists.
